Is it just us, or is 2009 completely flying by? The good news is that we seem to be on track with the planning. Nearly everything that isn’t already finished is at least in the works, and we’re headed up to Pittsburgh next weekend to meet with our parents and a few other key family members to really start crossing more things off of the list. (Food! Flowers! Centerpieces! Huzzah!)
You’ll notice before long that our web site is going to look different, to match the Save the Date cards that went out a couple of months ago. Our excellent groomsman Chuck is working on a redesign that’s going to be really pretty.
We think our favorite part of this whole process is the way our amazingly talented friends and relatives have offered said talents, to help us pull this party together. From ceremony music to winemaking to invitations to cake to videography, people we love very much have generously stepped up, and every time it’s happened, we’re reminded again how lucky we are to know (and be related to!) such gifted people. We’ll post a complete breakdown of who did what closer to (or right after) the big event.
